Volunteer Opportunities

Book Drive at This Thursday’s Breakfast Meeting!

At our July 10th meeting We’re excited to share that we’ll be collecting books at this week’s breakfast meeting to support Little Free Libraries!

These libraries offer free, public access to books especially for children and families who may not have easy access to traditional libraries. They help foster a love for reading, support education, and improve high school graduation rates in our community.

Whether it’s a gently used children’s book, a favorite novel, or an inspiring read every donation makes a difference!

Bring a book (or a few!) and help us spread the joy of reading.

WHY VOLUNTEER?

Volunteering offers vital help to people and organizations in need, provides various assistance to worthwhile causes and positively impacts our community. But, did you know what else volunteering does? Volunteering actually helps reduce stress, keep you mentally stimulated and provides a sense of purpose. As a contributor to the community, Mid-Florida SHRM looks for local opportunities to engage with our community and assist where needed.

Below you will find the current volunteer opportunities available through Mid-Florida SHRM.  Please reach out to the contact person for each initiative to get involved!
