Speaker Bio: Dennis A. Ross is a native of Lakeland, Florida. He is married to Cindy Hartley Ross and has two sons, Shane Ross and Travis Ross. Dennis graduated from Auburn University in 1981, where he then attended law school at the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. In 1989 Dennis started his own law practice, formerly known as Ross Vecchio, PA. While running his law practice, Dennis also served in the Florida State House of Representatives for eight years. In 2010, Dennis ran for and was elected to the United States House of Representatives, where he represented Florida’s 15th Congressional District for eight years. Since retiring from Congress, Dennis accepted a position with Southeastern University (SEU) as Director of the American Center for Political Leadership (ACPL) and as a Distinguished Professor. In addition to his work at SEU, Dennis joined GrayRobinson , Of Counsel and handles government relations at both the state and federal level.
