While finding and keeping qualified employees can be difficult in any job market, it is especially difficult right now, when candidates have plenty of jobs to pick and choose from. As an HR Professional navigating what feels like the Great Resignation, followed by the Great Replacement, employee turnover is inevitable.

How are we recruiting new talent and building a culture of work that allows the employee to grow and remain with the company? HR leaders know that recruitment and retention are inextricably linked, so by increasing employee engagement and retention, they reduce the need to recruit new workers. Your best employees are your company’s best assets. Happy employees tend to stay at their jobs, and they become a great recruiting tool. During our time together, we will discuss why employees are leaving and what are the best tools that we can employ to reduce turnover and attract top talent.

We'll identify the struggles we face to recruit and retain when we are experiencing high inflation during a time of recession. In this session, participants will learn that a big part of success is the ability to always be learning and improving, and that is especially true when trying to hire or retain employees. As a result of this program, participants will:

·        Gain insight into why employees are leaving and how can we retain them.

·        Learn alternative approaches to recruiting and retention strategies.

·        Understand HR's responsibility as it relates to recruiting and retention.

·        Know what works and doesn’t work and the ability to adjust to ongoing changes.
